PGR - Send Off - 320th POC, Portland OR, with my son

Pics are from top to bottom, click on a pic for a larger pic, text is under the pic...

I'm only able to publish this due to God's great work!  Unbelievable!

OK, a "I don't believe it" moment!!!!   I lost my camera in Depoe Bay, Or..  or so as I was told...  basic scenario... I loose my camera on the Oregon coast somewhere and a guy from Denver, Co calls and says, I have your camera....  no ID on it...

I was going (more) into and out of the fog, and had to put my mesh jacket liner in to keep the cold out.. the first stop to put it in was Depoe Bay, Or...  where I lost it....

Well... a couple was walking along where I lost my camera and found it, they are from Denver, Co! and visit Depoe Bay once a year!  He looked at the pics and saw Mike's license plate numbers and did a search to find the owners!  Called my DIL and said I have your camera, she said it was mine and gave him my info.   THAT is determination!  Thank you VERY" much!!!!

He called home and Donna said someone found your camera!!!  Floored me!!  But I did order a new one and this hopefully the last time I take a buncha blurry pics!!!!!!!!

He mailed it to me and here she goes..........

Well, not knowing squat about how it worked up there, parked outside in a police spot.. sitting there waiting, a guy walks over and said "I think your group is already inside"..  got off the scoot and went in..

RC said... maybe that isn't a good idea parking in a police spot, head over to the garage.  I'll guess they have a spot that is OK for PGR, but I didn't know where it was and just went into paid parking.  Back to the line for the wait.

Still am amazed that 20 of us made it at 0530 on a workday!!!  Outstanding!  Thanks to all that showed!!!!

Closer shot, the RC (Ride Captain - Jerry) with the PGR patch on his back giving the group his "say once"...

Then out front to wait...

Bus #1!!!!!  Mike was in bus #2...

Coming in now!

Time to get the gear out....

 The Honor Line awaits!!!

And here they come, I missed a shot of Mike walking up!  He gave me a thanks for being there, and I passed it on to the fine folks that did this mission and showed up!

And here is the last blurry shot from my *%!)%*!#$)*% camera!!!!  I can't see the little screens, had I, we'da had another pic... The camera was resisting taking the pic while focusing and what not, when the flash finally went off, we were surprised and the camera was not in focus... sigh...  is what it is....

It comes with a big gulp when it's your family, and a lot of you know that.  God Bless 'um and bring 'um home safe!  Hope to be there!
