Sorry for the lack of coverage, but I didn't do very well...
My good friend Roy C lost a good friend of his and PGR was asked to stand in honor and an honor it was. We don't have many good friends, and loosing one really hurts.
It turns out Don was quite a motorcycle rider and rode all over the world. I'm in envy, as it sounds like he saw some gorgeous country. When he got to a point a lot of us reach and decides to stop riding, he sold his very nice gold wing to a friend of Roy's and mine, Rich M and of course Rich loves it very much. Ride on...
We lined the path into the church for arriving guests.
We formed the flag line soon after I arrived and I forgot to get a pic of some of the scoots, there were 2 or 3 on the other side of Buzz's black car. Roy C's was just to the right of the green one, with my sweet Ruby next.
After the flag line, a few of our riders had to leave and the rest waited for the service to end, and then form a flag line from the church into an adjacent bldg for a meal.
As is quite common we are asked to attend, but I personally feel this is private time for loved ones and ride on.
One last shot, Roy C on the right. He'd just left the service and told us that all would be out soon. I know it had to be a good service, I walked by and they were playing Willy Nelson, "On the Road Again", I love that song!!! My travel song and it plays in my mind.
Healing and Comforting Prayers for family and friends during this sad time of passing. Please remember and celebrate the long and good life lived. God Bless
